Slightly generic maybe, but I have been loving finding endless combinations of my neutral colours this month. For lazy days I rely on Soap & Glory's Lid Stuff in What's Nude? but if I have a bit more time to play then I browse around my MUA Palette in Heaven & Earth. I always use a matte brown for my crease, but otherwise, it's a pic 'n' mix situation.
Benefit Brow Zings*
I have finally got on the brow bandwagon and taken to filling them in every day. I don't exaggerate in any way, literally just use a light hand and only the powder to fill in. I have the Light shade and think it's perfect just to emphasise my eyebrows, making them frame my face a little better, especially in photos.
Benefit Dandelion Blush
This blush has been on my wishlist since last August when I first sampled a friend's box. I gifted it to myself for my birthday - I'm generous like that. It is the absolute perfect shade for fair skin. When swatched it isn't all that amazing - like most Benefit blushes - but on the cheeks it gives a very natural, cool toned flush. I have barely touched another blush since I got it.
Johnson's Daily Essentials 24 Hour Day Cream
If I were ever to recommend a facial moisturiser to anyone, this would be the one. It's my all time favourite but I haven't used it in a while. There is the day cream and also a night version which I've yet to try. It's just a basic moisturiser, but the thick consistency sinks into the skin fast and you instantly see the benefits. There are immediate results on uber thirsty skin, plumping your skin up without any fancy extras.
Now the cold weather has swung back around - it was hardly away long - it's time to dig out my favourite deep treatments for my seasonally dry lips and skin. I'm thinking rich creams and heavy lotions, throw all recommendations my way!
