I couldn't help but notice my wardrobe has been taken over by a relatively colourless existence for the moment. Staple skinny jeans and that ultimate LBD have taken over my usual pops of colour - bar that beautiful cranberry bag that gives a subtle high five to a proper hue of colour.
Cream jumpers are stocking my knitwear drawer, I have my eye on two more after there being a significant void up until January 2014. Blame Pinterest for that obsession.
But, whether super comfy casual - a la outfit one - with my new Pins & Needles cardigan which I am obsessed with. Or, using a Newcastle night out as an excuse to seriously over dress - in the bargain of the lace Zara dress - these have been my  uniform for the last few weekends. I've skipped the tights in the images, but sadly I do have to slip them on. Except in Newcastle, obviously. Nobody wears tights in Newcastle.
All tops featured I have absolutely lived in since I've got them. Many leggings-as-tights faux pas have been made, but what else are Saturdays for? Especially with the Friend or Faux raglan top*, as it might just pass as long enough with the boyfriend fit. So fashion faux pas away.
